Denis Cheryshev will be with Real Madrid for four more years. The Spanish-Russian footballer arrived at The Factory in 2002. He joined the Under-12s A at 11 years old and has through all of the age-group teams at the club before he became one of the key players for Castilla last season, in which he scored 11 goals. His speed, technique and ability on the overlap led to his official debut with the first team on 27th November 2012, against Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey.
Cheryshev is already a regular in the Real Madrid first team. Since joining the Whites’ academy, he has stood out for his speed and play on the overlap down the left and has ability to cut inside or outside, on either foot. Last season he established himself as one of the most important players in Toril’s Castilla team. He scored 11 goals and was the team's third highest scorer, behind only Jese (22) and Morata (12).
He links up well with the forwards thanks to its technical quality and manages a healthy number of assists every year. On 15th November 2012 he debuted with the senior Russia team in a friendly against the USA. Twelve days later, he debuted in a competitive match for Real Madrid’s first team against Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey.
