Real Madrid is the most valuable sports team in the world ahead of Manchester United, according to Forbes magazine, which has been valued at 2.575 million white club euros, 100 million more than the last valuation of April.
The financial results announced by Real Madrid for the 2012-13 financial year show an increase in revenue of 5.5% to 520 million euros. It is the only club that generates more than 500 million euros in annual revenue.
Hot on the heels of Real Madrid is Manchester United, which has yet to publish its results for the year 2012-13. For the full year, Manchester United believed that revenue will be placed around 418 million euros.
