The Italian club announced Saturday so official the signing of the player through a brief statement and with a message on the Twitter social network of its president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, very active this summer in the transfer market.
"This morning we signed the contract with Higuain. Whenever I get a moment I'll show you a pretty picture we've done," says De Laurentiis.
Naples The statement merely announces the signing of the player and does not give details on the operation, which, according to Italian media, it has been closed after the Neapolitan club reached an agreement with Real Madrid, which stood at 40 million transfer euros.
The same sources claim that the Argentine striker, 25 years and who for weeks had indicated their intention to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, was expected to sign a contract with Napoli until 2018 by about 4.5 million euros net per season.
