Real Madrid 2012/13 to kick off with a double training session

MARCA: The league champion starts training without the internationals who took part in Euro 2012 or Marcelo, who will take part in London 2012.

Real Madrid 2012/13 kicks off on Monday at the club’s training facilities in Valdebebas. Is does so in earnest, but a bit shorthanded as neither the internationals who took part in Euro2012 or Marcelo will be there. Jose Mourinho has planned a double training session, one at 10:00 and another at 17:30.

Those players whose futures at the club are still unclear like Kaká, Lass, Carvalho and Gago will attend the sessions at Valdebebas, as will various academy players. The internationals will gradually join-up with the squad: Benzema on 26th July and Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, Coentrão, Khedira and Özil on 27th July. Casillas, Arbeloa, Albiol, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso will join-up with the squad on 28th July in the US, where the bulk of the club’s pre-season is taking place.
