The morning session this Saturday at the Valdebebas training ground had one surprising result, with the Real Madrid 'B' team, Castilla, beating their first team counterparts 5-1.

Castilla had new player Nuri Sahin playing for them. Their team line up was Adán in goals (substituted for the second half by Pacheco), with Juanfran, Mateos, Iván y Casado in defence, Mosquera, Sahin, Lucas, Alex y Denis en the midfield and Morata up front.

Castilla's goals came from Denis (the first and the fifth), Sahin from the penalty spot, Morata and Lucas. And it was this latter who was the star of the show for the 'B' team. At one point they were 5-0 up, but the Primera División champions did at least get on the score sheet by the end of the training match, with Higuaín scoring for them.

Also playing was the Brazilian Fabinho, who arrived in Madrid this Wednesday, scored his first goal in training on Friday and in the training match today played with the first team.

Although he scored, Higuaín looks far from being at his best, likely affected by lack of match practice. The Real Madrid team, which included three Castilla players, was as follows: Jesús in goal; Fabinho, Varane, Nacho, Ríos; Granero, Lass, Callejón, Kaká; Di María and Higuaín. Callejón was their best player.
